You never NEED to play previous games before playing a new one, but I still recommend playing all the God of War games before playing ragnarok. With Atreus looking to figure out who he is and the Asgardian gods watching, the father and son duo make new allies and even more enemies as they try to prevent Ragnarok. Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of “Loki” and establish his role in Ragnarök. I'm primarily a PC gamer and have been for over 8 years now and with no specific genre I enjoy, I have been able to play and love many titles from the past decade.

God of War Ragnarök’s New Game Plus (NG+) update is now available and with it comes a ton of new options for Kratos builds! Yes, God of War Ragnarök will offer a digital upgrade* option from a disc or digital PS4 game to the digital PS5 version for an additional cost. I would label myself as a Nintendo Fanatic and also am extremely interested in VR and hoping to follow it closely in upcoming years. What with a new trailer dropping during September's PlayStation State of Play, and now news of the game going gold as of October 7, getting your copy sorted before the game's November 9 release date is a must for fans.
