The gentle finishing wax is created from a blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and shellac wax, and it creates a lasting and lustrous shine.

This helps the liming wax to settle into the grain patterns, accentuating the wood’s unique character and texture.So all the old oak beams in the old houses would have been whitewashed and then they’d get this beautiful patina. Protect and preserve interior and exterior wood against rot, mould, algae, fungal growth, insect attack and more with these treatments and woodworm killers. Once you have completely finished liming, we recommend to finish using a good quality clear beeswax to enhance the sheen and add further protection to the wood. Perfect for use on interior floors, doors, skirting boards, architraves, kitchen cabinet doors and more to achieve a traditional limed wax finish.

Overcoat with a clear wax polish for a more durable finish, or a finishing oil for a water resistant finish.
