If you have space, it’s best to store your mat unrolled with the valve open. This lets the foam breathe and prevents it getting overly compressed. Store it out of direct sunlight. View Outwell self inflating mattresses before you buy at one of our many dealerships across the UK. Keep the roll nice and tight, and push down to force the air out. If it doesn't look that tight, unroll a bit and re-roll. You'll find it easier the second time as you would have got rid of a lot of air. Of course, a SIM isn't the only alternative.
