I will hold out hope of her being a FMC in the future, though it does seem like the Bratva connection has ended for now as it was only mentioned in passing and this novel focused on some new New York based Mafia families. Can’t wait to see where everything goes in the future books!

the 🔥 (slow burn). before I get into this, let me say that Nikolai is a PATIENT man 😱. I don’t know how many men out there would wait SO long AFTER getting married 😬😅. I gotta give him props 🤷🏻‍♀️ (they get married at about 31%…) The ending left me only wanting for more and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book from Sasha Leone. I'm so excited!! My father always warned me against falling in love. That all it would bring is pain and betrayal. But when I meet Noah and his golden gaze trails over me like a fiery tongue that heats my skin, I want nothing more than to prove him wrong. Samir Krishan King plays his role with precision. He is the polished, well educated, face of the King family. He has spent years learning the world of their enemies. Playing his part. And, slowly they have begun taking over and bringing their enemies to their knees. A misunderstanding leads to Summer getting wrapped up in Mafia business (definitely nothing to do with the chemistry between her and Luc…). It’s interesting to see the families through her eyes – someone who is fully aware of the public image of the notorious bosses and their wives. She knows it’s dangerous to trust anyone, especially the Mafia.

This had a bit of typical mafia characters like a young, very innocent heroine and the big bad intense mafia hero who was to be married to her. like I said, even though it was a type of book I have read many times, the intensity of the characters kept me hooked and I loved it a lot! The suspense was good and now I want the stories of the side characters, I hope we get them soon! I have read quit a few books written by this author and she just keeps on amazing me with her work. The characters are strong and dark they have to be in their world. I love the little quirks and the way they play off each other makes them somewhat real. The plot what can you say it has it all danger, violence, secrets, lies, and romance. Amara poor innocent she's tossed into a arranged marragie to bring both sides at peace. She's going to be the perfect wife her father says. She doesn't know much about her future hubs just that he's a psycho and cruel. Until she meets him he is crazy and cold but around her he's tiny bit different, he's overprotective, possessive and well kill anyone who touches a hair on her head. And that's what he does when his woman feels threatened. NIKOLAI that man I swear I was drooling all over him!! He also had a plan with his brother but it changed with Amara. The things he says to Amara I had to change my own panties because that mouth!! I'll be his dirty girl anyday 😏 but little does she know that her psycho husband was obsessed at first glance and was gonna treat her like his queen😫🦋💍

This was different than the first book and the Sinacores were not the main players. The timeline was the same so readers will get to see the things that happened to Luca and Carina from a different point of view. The Sinacores are all up and through this book as an ally to the Gianni Mafia. Noah Esposito is in the family not by blood but through loyalty. His father was the consigliere for the famly until Francesco, considered Noah's uncle, passed away and his son, Joaquin, took over. Tony Sinacore tried for an alliance with the families when the Ferryman started coming after the heads but no one would listen. Everyone knew that Noah should be the one to take over but Francesco's sons tried their hands at it first. So this book is nothing less than a big rollercoaster of emtions with all the ups and downs. You start a A and end by Z, but you have no idea what happened in between. That is what I loved about the story. That is what dark mafia makes so special. Espacially the ones from this author. There is so much tension, so much hot and steamy sex, so much plotting between the different characters. You never know how it will turn out.

To solidify ties between the Bratva and Costa Nostra Amara Bianchi and Nikolai Petrox are to wed sight unseen. He’s a dark merciless killer whilst Amara is just eighteen and innocent.I absolutely loved Devani and Sam. You know it is true love when you are willing to burn the whole city down along with you to get your revenge for some one you love. I loved their banter, their arguments, their jealousy and their angsty chemistry. I loved Devani’s strength and take no crap or prisoners attitude. I loved Sam for his protective nature, his charming personality, his strength and his stop at nothing determination to get his Queen. I could go on and on with all the things I loved about them, but you’ll understand better if you just read for yourself 😁. Because I was born to rule this city, and there was only ever one way to do it -- with an iron fist. As well as the romance story, the author sure knows how to write a fantastic accompanying suspenseful storyline which keeps you gripped and not wanting to put this book down. Ruthless Heir” is an absolute must-read for fans of dark mafia romance. Sasha Leone has masterfully crafted a story that combines passion, intrigue, and danger, keeping readers hooked from beginning to end. The characters are multi-dimensional and compelling, and the chemistry between Gabriel and Bianca is electric.
