I wasn’t going to leave you alone in there with him,” Nat said firmly. “Not until I knew you were safe.” I also love the relationship between Pip And Ravii they are so pure and adorable together and m heart loves these two. Team Ravi and Pip forever ok bye now. * cries * It’s scary, to know that someone might want to hurt you, or make you scared. You’re my person. My little one. My Sarge. And I’m supposed to protect you.

Nevertheless, since it burst on the scene two years ago, the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series has been one of my favourites and one that I would cherish for a long time. I'd miss all these characters and all hail Ravi Singh! I'd be looking forward to the author's other books. The narration is a reminder of the likes of Jerome K Jerome’s classic, ‘Three Men in a Boat’; of course, that was more humourous—Evans’ book, though, is more serious. Nevertheless, it does come across as a friendly encounter with the author, who could just as well be sitting across a coffee table and narrating stories to the reader, one after the other, in rapid succession.

I read most of this novel on the plane ride home from San Antonio to San Francisco. The saint-to-saint direct flight, about four hours.

in the beginning, pip was attempting to save herself after everything that she has gone through and her life was becoming consumed in trying to save herself. given that her last few cases had a good motive for all the terrible things that each character did, it made pip very conflicted and i understood her. on the second part, everything took a turn and i love how well thought out it was and everything on pip’s part. she tried her best not to involve anyone and it’s clear how much she loves her friends in her life. the difference with the crime that pip committed was the fact that the ppl she got involved (max) deserved everything coming to them (jason). it showed that the justice system rlly was flawed and sometimes you need to take things into your own hands. Here she was again, six and a half years after she died, and she was Pip’s only remaining lead. No, not a lead, a lifeline: some strange unknowable force connecting them across time, though they’d never met. Pip wasn’t there to save Andie, but maybe Andie was there to save her. This review will be full of spoilers, so if you haven't read As Good As Dead and plan to do so, don't read on. after everything that nat and pip have been through, i am so glad that she was able to bond with pip nonetheless and put aside their differences in the first few books. i rlly enjoyed reading abt their friendship and how nat tried her best to look out for her and made sure she was safe. it was also so sweet to see her and jamie get together after everything in the second book. nat deserves all the happiness <3 she’s such a strong character and i just loved her, especially in this one.

So is the story of these two women, who meet while pursuing a course at the Iowa Writer’s workshop and apart in 1988. Now, twenty years later, Charlotte is a successful author and professor at the University of Arizona where her husband, Will is also a professor. The series has ended yet it leaves me with an unsettling feeling. The odd turn between Pippa and Ravi was something uncalled for, I hated it. I am not a big fan of an open ending, though it is made known that it ends as to how we would want it to be. I was a bit disappointed that this one does not live up to my expectation. And Pip saw them right now, staring straight through her. Dead eyes encased in the head of a dead pigeon sprawled on the front drive. Glassy and lifeless, except for the movement of her own reflection within them, bending to her knees and reaching out. Not to touch it, but to get just close enough.

It’s all fun and games until YOU’RE the one being stalked and chased by a serial killer . . . cause then you’re AS GOOD AS DEAD. 💀 They reached the top, old Roger puffing several steps behind her. A smartly dressed man stood in the corridor outside 4E, smiling when he saw them.

On another run, Pip finds a chalk message on her regular route that says Dead Girl Walking. Pip takes a photo, which Ravi encourages her to show to the police. Detective Hawkins dismisses her claims, saying she has no real evidence that someone is stalking her. She decides she’ll take the case herself and find out who her stalker is. the beginning of this book has a very interesting start. it’s a bit morbid, but nonetheless gets straight to the point. it’s clear that pip’s hate for max makes her lash out. and she also “ruined” every single happy moment she had with her friends by thinking about the ending of the second book. i think that this book alluded to quite a few things in the beginning since i went into this book knowing all the spoilers and everything. In Chapter 52, Max Hastings was arrested, but in Chapter 53 Pip realized that Hawkins still suspected she had something to do with the whole thing. In Chapter 54, Pip broke up with Ravi to keep him out of harm’s way if Max was found guilty at trial and Hawkins needed a new suspect. In Chapter 55, Pip went to Columbia and cut off ties with all her old friends, family, and Ravi, while waiting for the verdict in Max’s trial. In the epilogue, three minutes after Max Hasting’s trial ended, Sal messaged Pip. Pip immediately began to respond. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is The New York Times No.1 bestselling YA crime thriller and WINNER of The British Book Awards' Children's Book of the Year 2020 and shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2020
