About this deal

Not that the Realme 9 Pro Plus deviates significantly in this regard, but I do appreciate the attempt to deliver something a bit different through the use of a colour-changing reflective rear panel. I received the Aurora Green model which, as you can see in the images throughout this review, looks quite nice in the areas where it catches the light. A full-fat, 24-bit/96kHz file of Weyes Blood’s Grapevine accessed from some network-attached storage allows the WiiM to show what it’s made of almost entirely. It creates a big, properly defined soundstage on which musicians can operate securely, and keeps detail levels high at every point. Despite the generous dimensions of the stage, there’s no sense of estrangement or remoteness – every part of the recording relates to the others in a neat and confident manner. This is particularly apparent in the midrange, where the vocal is brimming with character and attitude. The WiiM is attentive to even the most minor or transient dynamic variations in the delivery, and as a result, the vocal line sounds immediate, natural and full of conviction.

Meanwhile, anyone who needs Google and has over a grand to drop on a new smartphone will opt for the iPhone 11 Pro, Oppo Find X2 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, even with their inferior camera systems.

The P40 Pro’s video capture looks good across all resolutions, climbing up to 4K, 60fp. Footage captured on the main camera is stellar in medium to good lighting, well stabilised, and any fans of more natural levels of saturation and punch would prefer Huawei’s video style to that of Samsung.

A new brightness ceiling, excellent OLED colors and contrast, and the added functionality of the Dynamic Island, make this a great expansive display. 60Hz is well behind the curve, however. We are going to say no, not really. But there are things that you may want to consider before you use it. Firstly from a purists point of view we suppose it might be considered gaining an unfair advantage, but that said We are sure the carp aren’t thinking the same on days we have a ‘blank’. Even better, the battery capacity has been improved as well, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ can brag with a 5,000mAh battery, up from 4,500mAh. The phone offers one of the fastest charging solutions to date - 120W HyperCharge, which has already been proven to deliver jaw-dropping charging speed as part of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and other Xiaomi-made phones. With that being said, everything else looks promising on this new Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Let's unbox it now. Unboxing the Redmi Note 12 Pro+The 6x portrait mode is particularly suitable for close-up shots of people. Leveraging OPPO’s computational photography capabilities, it accurately portrays light and shadow, resulting in well-balanced and expressive portraits. Unlike traditional smartphones that often apply heavy-handed algorithms to brighten faces, the Reno10 Pro+ captures portraits with a slightly reddish effect, which preserves the dynamic interplay between light and subjects, providing a three-dimensional and lifelike representation without excessive algorithmic optimization. Cameras Meanness aside, the main camera is a fairly solid upgrade on the iPhone 13. As mentioned above, it inherits the camera module from the iPhone 13 Pro, which comes with a brighter f/1.5 aperture and sensor-shift stabilisation, as well as Apple’s new Photonic Engine image processing, which improves image quality across all three cameras. The 14 Pro series already had a lead on the current Android rivals and that phone's same chip now powers the Plus. Top flagship performance, with longevity and headroom.

The weight of the product is 3.5oz and so dependant on what rod, reel and line you are using alongside your casting ability and the conditions will determine the actual distance cast. 100 yards would be a good cast with the Deeper Pro Plus. Here’s what the inside sensor portion looks like on the HRM-PRO Plus, which you can see is identical to that of the original HRM-PRO (yellow pod):

With the iPhone 14 Pro still absolutely flying and out-performing many current-gen Android flagships in artificial benchmarks, there was little to suggest that its deployment in the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus would do anything to dull its potency. That's especially true with a modest 60Hz display to power (rather than the Pro line's adaptive 120Hz panel), and sure enough that's precisely the case. The Pro Plus is one of the most affordable streamers we’ve seen in a while, undercutting the current budget models, such as the Cambridge Audio MXN10 and Bluesound Node, by a significant margin. With such a host of streaming features at its disposal, it could be set to disrupt what is becoming an increasingly competitive area. Ultimately, these are minor changes, and for the most part this is just considered a running change. There will soon be watch bundles offered with the Garmin HRM-PRO Plus straps instead of HRM-PRO. And, best of all, the software changes for the indoor running pace/distance is being released as a firmware update to the existing HRM-PRO today. So Garmin says that in terms of functionality, both units are identical, save the battery compartment aspects. Here you can see I’ve got it paired as a running footpod (speed), a heart rate sensor, and a running cadence sensor (all via Bluetooth Smart in this case). That’s because it actually broadcasts as all of those, on both ANT+ & Bluetooth Smart, specifically: If you want to see comparison shots between the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 13 Pro, you should read my iPhone 14 review and scroll down to the camera section. Suffice to say, there isn’t a huge difference in quality, despite the fact that the iPhone 14 has Apple’s Photonic Engine processing and the iPhone 13 Pro doesn’t.And then in the 3rd quarter (2022), the following units will get a firmware update to streamline them as well: After three weeks of living with the iPhone 15 Plus, I assembled this review, focusing on all the key aspects that potential buyers would likely want to know about when it comes to living with this device. The strap is the same as the previous HRM-PRO strap, which is basically the same as the HRM-TRI and HRM-RUN straps. That is to say they are single-piece straps, where the pod is built directly into the strap. The main change of course is now the pod has a tool-less battery compartment, which we’ll discuss in a second. Next, we’ve got the transmission side. This is when you pair it up to apps or devices, be it Garmin or otherwise. The HRM-PRO Plus strap is dual ANT+ & Bluetooth Smart compatible, so that means that you can pair it to an unlimited number of ANT+ devices, and then three concurrent Bluetooth Smart devices. So let’s say you’re inside on Zwift, Peloton, or TrainerRoad (running on an iPad), then that’ll pair via Bluetooth Smart, while you can still also then pair it up to your watch via ANT+. Here it is on Peloton: Combined with all-day battery life, fast 40W wired and wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and over half a terabyte of internal storage, there’s so much to love about the P40 Pro Plus that the fact Huawei is still working against the Google limitations feels like a crying shame.
